Yeah. Some seem to not understand the difference. He simply doesn't have a buyout. Assuming aTm gets at least 6 years out of him, by that point there is a good chance that salary creep catches up and they didn't end up any worse off. And they got who they wanted. Only time will tell whether it pays off.

This has been my point all along. When Sumlin was extended he was like 2nd or 3rd highest paid, and when we let him go he was fringe top 10. Locking him in for 10 years at that rate may look like a bargain half way thru.
