I know Chevin, really smart kid. He's probably dropping football to be a doctor and doesn't want the head injuries.

I heard.... with no actual source... that he's had a big time beef with the staff.
Gonna always be a few that don't buy in. Maybe he was one of them.

Well how stupid is that. Not to buy in with a college hall of fame coach like the chief.

Honestly i am not sure the kid is all there. Go back, and read his commitment articles. He straight up admitted he only committed here because he called up to ole miss, and they told him they were full, and so did the other school he was talking to. "So i said i guess arkansas it is"

The dude procrastinated even thinking about where he was going to go. He only came here because he didnt know where he was going, and basically waited til we were his best last option.

Seems kinda dumb that Ole Miss wouldn’t find room to take a high school all-American DB too though lol

My read is more than a few were guaranteed playing time in recruiting. When competing for a starting spot or they fall down the depth chart, they don’t have interest in playing anymore.

I say this because the previous roster management and why some got to play while others didn’t for no rhyme or reason.

Enh. There will be a lot of "I heard this" or "I bet it is this" but right now none of us are really sure why he's doing this.

I wish him the best and if he winds up playing here in the future great. If he doesn't that is fine too.

Hell his message makes it seem like something was wrong. He could have mental health problems. Schizophrenia develops in males who are usually above average intelligence and begins to start affecting them anywhere from 18-25

Yeah, I didn't want to speculate but it could be a mental health issue.

None of us really know for sure right now, but if that is what is happening then I hope that young man gets the help he will need. A serious mental health crisis like Schizophrenia is a scary thing.

I have a friend who is schizo. Hit him out of the blue. He had periods of normal, and then batshit insane. He is medicated now, but his normal periods are gone for the most part. He is a lucid paranoid schizo. He realizes he is crazy. Realizes his thoughts are crazy/absurd. He can't help, but think them though. Once a thought gets in his head he has a very hard time getting rid of it. It is an awful disease. He is an amazing guy. Super nice. One of the smartest people i know. He is super gullible though, and also hard headed. This compounds his issues i believe personally.
