Would you replace him if we had another punter?
Why didn't anyone argue to keep Jones as the kicker since he is proven? There's no thinking to it, he has what it takes yet he got benched.
I basically think all players should have to produce or get benched. There shouldn't be any exceptions. Every kid at Alabama has potential or they wouldn't be on the team, that doesn't mean we have to continue to play them when they are struggling.
Who knows, it might help Delong if he gets benched for the week and it takes some pressure off.

If he and the other punter were comparable in ability, yes.

Go for it every fourth down, that's the replacement. Or this weekend just take a knee, we don't won't to score 80.
