Dabo could have easily started Bryant this week (even for 1 series), and his eligibility would have been done. No transfer option. He did that kid a huge solid by naming Lawrence the starter and letting Bryant decide his fate.

I'm guessing every coach in the country is having to have conversations like that after 4 games at this point. It's clearly taking a lot of guys by surprise (Auburn is a prime example).

I understand what your saying but that would backfire on Dabo quick. He would be dumb to do something like that so lets not give him too much credit for it.

I agree which is exactly what Saban did the first game of the season.
