Carolina and Kentucky would have been better. But Vols and dawgs have a better national draw unfortunately

At this point I wonder if CBS just wants to be sure everyone can watch Tennessee get broke

Why not the Mullen Bowl for CBS?

Somebody in the Tennessee organization must have pissed off the CBS executives. That's just mean

Question: If Bama had an OOC schedule game like Texas scheduled next week, would they be eligible to be on CBS? I can't remember the last time a SEC team played a non-conference game on CBS that wasn't the opening game of the season. I'm not sure if that's due to contractual reasons or the fact that there have been better games available i.e. televising the Iron Bowl instead of Florida-FSU, Georgia/GT or USC/Clemson.

I dont know the details but CBS has some agreement where they have to show each SEC team in a matchup, or something. This was an opportunity to get Tennessee and still get ratings with the uga draw. Or something like that.
