except for the 65 yard pass, he's stalled every drive that didn't have us starting in Tenn's territory.

Whenever he gets me close to thinking he has a shot, he just goes straight back to old Feleipe. Terrible pass selection, has stopped taking the checkdowns.

It's disappointing.

He hasn't completed a pass in a while. The offense is bad right now.

Get Toney INVOLVED. Screens. Stand passes, whatever.

But what they are running now is just an abortion of a game plan that would have lost UF this game if UT hadn't turned it over so much.

As it is, there is still way too much time on the clock to go 3 and out until the end of the game.

It's the second week in a row that the entire team has looked the part but QB continues to struggle to get anything done. Our defense shouldn't even be on the field right now.

Good drive, good composure. I notice that he passes the ball better when you call him some designed runs and lean on the run game.

Does he ever throw these passes when the other team is in the game? This is garbage time, we're running out the clock and we took a deep shot against a team that's already given up.

He's got to do this shite when the game actually matters. It looks great, but until he does this at "real speed" and consistently, it's just garbage points against a garbage team.

111 yards in three quarters is inexcusable.

That was a clutch throw. He clinched the win on that pass.

Nah, fam. The +5 turnovers clinched the win.

Not breaking 50% completions for three straight games is actually pretty sad. Let's hope he can continue to uh, develop.

I am truly beginning to believe that Franks banged your girlfriend.

3 TDs
0 turnovers
Completely unphased by noisy 1Q Neyland

This cat couldn't throw the ball out of bounds last year. He's never going to be an All-SEC QB. But he is obviously a leader on the team and continues to improve as an all-around quarterback. I know I personally am having a lot of fun seeing the bullets he's hit for long TDs this year, even if I know there's more chambered shells that will miss the mark.

Meanwhile, the defense gave him excellent field position all game and we settled for field goals more often than not.

He continues to hit less than 50% of his passes.

He had 111 yards at the end of the third quarter.

He had 96 against Colorado State that just lost to an FCS at home.

If we are going to lose a game, it will be from the QB position. Every other group is improving (except maybe tight ends) while the QB remains exactly the same. Everyone is pulling their weight except the QB.

TL;DR

Until he completes more than 50% of his passes, he won't get credit for me. This will never work against UGA or any other team who is actually good (Kentucky, what a surprise they beat us at home).

I don’t think it’s what Franks did but who Trask is . Straws wants Trask to take over the starting job . I could see wanting Franks benched if we actually had a good young QB ready to take over . The Freshmen is not ready and Trask is not the answer . Trask hasn’t been a starter since Middle school.

I don't want Trask, I want someone who is not Franks.

This is the second week in a row that he's failed to have over 115 yards before the fourth quarter.

Colorado State just lost to an FCS at home, imagine how bad of a Quarterback you'd need to be to not be able to get over 115 yards in two straight games when it mattered.

Fumble - Touchdown
Interception - Touchdown
Fumble - Punt
Fumble - FG
Fumble - Touchdown
Interception - Punt

Looks to me like we scored TDs more often than not and we only had 1 FG all night (had to drive 66 yards for it). Add in another TD after the safety.

How much did you have to drink tonight?

Straws btw Franks did complete 50% of his passes. Get your facts straight. He wasn't suppose to light up Neyland and he did his job to your dismay. No turnovers.

Feleipe Franks in three games vs. FBS teams is:

34/71, 47% completion rate. This is the third game in a row he has failed to complete more than 50% of his passes.

Also, to Muth:

Fumble - Touchdown (2 completions, this is good)
Interception - Touchdown (1 completion, this is good)
OUR Fumble - Franks should have kept the read. (This is bad)
Punt - Three and out. (This is bad. 0/1)
Safety - Touchdown (Big play by the WR, good play by Franks)
Field Goal - 0/3 for Franks.
Fumble - Touchdown Run (first play)
Drive - Three and out. (0/2 for Franks)
Drive - Three and out (Franks throws too short on third down)
Drive - Touchdown Franks, he had a good drive but this is the end of the game, the other team has already given up.

This is why I'm so bothered. The team is doing outstandingly well and the offense is stalling because of very poor decision making.

People see the box scores but they don't pay attention to the actual details of the game -- and if you don't want them, cool. This didn't cost us the game today, but it cost us the game against Kentucky, and it will likely cost us another game down the road.

The biggest stat is 0 INTs. Franks managed the game. He finished drives.
