Regarding the SWC
There’s a 30 for 30 called the Pony Excess, I’m sure you’ve seen it.
But it’s one of my favorites
It’s about the SMU teams in the 80s but does touch on the recruiting practices of the conference and how A&M got Dickerson a trans am, and still didnt land him
ETA: and that was even worse because the higher ups in the school were paying these kids

I don't care who shot Kennedy, who is so vain, or what really went down in Roswell. I do however want to know what the hell SMU gave Eric Dickerson to get him before I die.
