Did anyone ever see a reason from Chad on why Storey didn’t play? Kelley stayed 3 interceptions too long in the game.

He was asked that in the presser

" I decided to go with Conner Noland. I didn't want to put Ty in that situation."

Don't worry. Ty will have at least 3 picks in the first half against Aubbie.

More than likely. This is almost like the coaching staff is giving each player a game to determine who should be the guy. Cole had his chance and threw 4 INTS. Now it's Storey turn to be sacrificed to the gods on Saturday.

Pretty sure it's already released that it's Storey.

Good. I know it was Eastern Illinois, but it looked like he knew what he was doing out there. I saw the same in the spring game.

Sure he may not have the arm strength you would like, but at least he can keep shite under control and make the right decisions. And yes I know he had a bad couple drives at CSU, but at this point he has performed the best.

Cole just doesn't get it.

Storey has accuracy issues. Like bad. He throws at recievers, and doesnt lead them.

He does though know how to run the rpos. He gets the ball where it needs to go, but its inaccurate, or not on time.

The announcers of this last game mentioned that cole anticipates better. That is sad if true. He had 1 pass where he threw before the reciever made his break. Its been since 2015 since i have seen that.

Hate it for him, he's probably a great kid, and would be a good QB at a lower level - but from what I've seen so far, Ty Storey is not the answer or the future. That said, I'd love for he or Cole to prove me wrong, but from what we have on campus now, Noland looked the most to me like 'the future', although he's not quite ready yet.
