Stidhams issue is that this offense isn’t built for him. Gus has to have a dual threat for his offense to work at full potential. Stidham is a pure pocket passer but we only use him to throw screens and Bombs. The passing game is not creative at all.

He also is not good under pressure. And when your o line is the one he has now, you need to be ready for pressure.

LSU was sitting on and jumping routes just like they were last season. It was blatantly obvious that Arranda knows our whole passing attack backwards and forwards. Stidham looked much better during that mid-game stretch wherein we had them on their heels and could run plays off before they had a chance to digest them. It's silly to expect any QB to look good when the defense knows the routes and your HC is too obtuse to see that and adjust.

Uh, say what now? Stidham can't find the pocket, he continuously refuses to step up into it, or if he does, time stops for him and he holds the ball too long. What I've seen is as soon as the DEs go out of his sight, he panics.
