Best Wins of all time

For me one of my favorites was the 42-11 win in 1981 over #1 ranked Texas. I was a student in attendance at the game and the big win at home followed by post-game festivities including bonfires on Dickson Street was Fayetteville at its finest. Texas week on campus was always a blast.

The Texas band did not take kindly to Arkansas’ fans cheers and taunts. One sousaphone player even dropped his horn, walked into the crowd of Arkansas fans and started fighting someone. The State Police had to escort the Longhorns’ band out. Parts of Dickson Street were reported to be almost covered with a carpet of glass from broken beer bottles. Police barricaded the entire block and re-routed traffic in order to prevent cars from driving over the glass.

The '78 Orange Bowl was the first ever Razorback game I watched as a kid and I've never been the same since. Ranking the wins is tough for me now it seems it's been so long since we've had a winning program.

In recent history I'd say the 4th and 25 Ole Miss win was the most exciting. Don't think we've had a "big win" meaning an important win really since the Petrino era. Blanking LSU in Baton Rouge was nice. Seemed then that ol Bert might really get things rolling. But alas...
