What a great guy. It might be hate week between uga and south Carolina, but listening to this guy has to make Carolina fans proud.
Well spoken, intelligent and 100% real.
Hiring him to help with player development was a fantastic move.

I always liked Lattimore and truly felt horrible for his career to end like it did...he could have been special
When Chubb first got injured it instantly brought back memories of the injury to Lattimore

quote:The 49er's heaped praise on him in his short time there. He is just a great guy who doesn't say a bad thing about anyone. You got down votes for this...amazing how shallow some people are...amazing !

I remember very vividly a story following the game @UF in 2010.
That night we had won the East and Lattimore I think rushed for over 200 yards. After that game there was a mini-celebration at Williams Brice that the team joined well past midnight.
The following morning he went to speak at a church but said that he didn't tell his coaches about it because they would have stopped him - knowing he needed to rest. He of course did it because he is an unapologetic man of Faith and had made the commitment to speak at the church.
Let me see if I can dig that story up.

One of my all time favorite SC players. he was very workman like. You knew he was the main weapon, but lined up and got the yards anyway. Tough and seemed to be classy.

Hated seeing that injury. Hope he's doing well and he's happy. If I'm South Carolina, I'd make sure he comes to all games and be given the best seat in the house.
