Anyone in the state of Florida saw the FSU fall. Heard constant rumors and boosters seemed to know it was coming for awhile. Jimbo and Meyer had the same issue. They recruited talent, but not character. Jimbo absolutely lost control, and that last year he had given up. He stopped caring and it was clear. Yes Spurrier left. But Spurrier left to save the year claiming he was hurting the team. Jimbo stayed then left in them high and dry with a destroyed locker room. Only Aggies would delude themselves to thinking Jimbo did right by FSU. He didn't.

You also aren't a better job. Stop kidding yourself.

FSU hires a shitty coach with a sub .500 record, shitty coach produces a shitty team, and the historical re-write to blame Jimbo begins in earnest. Such sad little men.

Spurrier bailed on his team in the middle of a season. He quit. He can spew all the BS about trying to justify it but it's piffle. It should taint his legacy.

What a bullshite rationalization. He quit. He left because his massive ego couldn't take having his team getting the living shite kicked out of it. Spurrier has always been a massive pussy.
