Willie Taggart historically struggles in year 1 but historically builds good programs. Doubt they’re down for long

Willie has the women OVAH at A&M for his players, his ghetto uniforms ,and the Total lack of discipline plan working for his program. 8-4 and 9-3 records will be the good ole days going forward.

Not really. Taggert's biggest accomplishment is one 10 win season at South Florida with a Birmingham Bowl win. Other than that he has an overall losing record and only got to 8 wins one other time. FSU took a HUGE risk by hiring him as his track record does not indicate he can build a team to win consistently, much less in a situation where he will be at a financial disadvantage to his competition with a tough schedule in a tough division of the ACC.

Jimbo left for many reasons but I think the overriding one was that he got tired of trying to keep up against Clemson without the resources to do so. He got no love for past accomplishments and knew his job would just get harder and harder to meet increasingly difficult expectations. A&M opened up the checkbook not only for his salary but also is giving him carte blanche on coaching hire money and facilities with reasonable expectations.

I think FSU is going to have a hard time getting back to the old days. The money isn't there.
