Neither Fehoka who is a freaking transfer from Texas Tech not even recruited in the SEC), nor big slow always injured Lawerence would start for the top SEC teams, much less tops in the nation. Chelvin? You have to be kidding ... he has no playing history to justify placing him as elite anything. And who on the bench is top SEC quality that provides the depth? “ Uhhhhh well Boudreaux, and Tgibadoux, and Bobby Bouchea..” keep in mind the LSU front was blown off the ball in multiple games last year including by Troy. Yet that same group is going to be “best in nation” this year? That is just Tr logic at its finest.

Now quickly name one LB for LSU that would start at Alabama other than White...heck ... just give the name one other LSU LB period... I’m waiting... the silence is deafening... because no one knows these guys...they have no outstanding playing history, and no one other than Tr is impressed with the group that no one has ever heard of. Yet LSU is supposed to play the best 3-4 defense in the country with a group of no names, no history, no credentials, no depth, filling the roster?

Secondary? Well, Williams seems solid but every other player in the two deep has limited playing time AT BEST, much less playing time with each other. Even adding up recruiting stars doesn’t give anything close to “best in SECwest” much less “SEC,” much less “nation.”

Maybe the defense will prove to have the physical skills and intelligence, and will develop the communication to be a good unit. But in no way imaginable is it ever going to be “best in the nation,” except in the pre season minds of juvenile Tr fans.

Oh.. spare me your pitiful attempt to offer “proof” of that silly statement by quoting names from the roster. That only shows how little you know about the rest of the SEC.
