While this is true, you also have to factor in UW has played a much easier schedule during that same time period. Since Gus has been at Auburn, the average SOS rank is 7.6. Whereas since Petersen has been at UW the average SOS is 61. I know SOS is not an exact stat, but that is a huge disparity that even with you factor in a significant margin or error, still leaves a large gap.

FWIW I think they are pretty darn comparable and when you factor in their regional ties, it gets even more dicey.

While definitely fair, I'd just point out that UW is an inferior program to AU. As in, I would expect Gus to win more games at a program like AU instead of Arkansas, even though Arkansas probably has an easier SOS
