Bad things happen everywhere. This was 2:30 after bars were closed on a saturday in a freak accident 6 years ago and changed the officer mentality to preventing crime instead of cracking down on MIPs.
Whats your excuse for dangling a student off a bridge and dropping him to his death two years back.
ETA:Point being you can't use that as any reasoning. We could pick apart sad instances everywhere all day.

my parents and grandmother wanted me to go to Clemson rather than SC b/c it is more safe.
SC and Cola have improved a lot since 1996 though.
