yes I used to live there and my parents live in Lex
i attended USC for a spring and summer semester post Clemson.
Cola is a sleepy place.
the main difference b/t attending SC and Clemson is at SC you get approached by homeless people a lot, but I don't recall that happening at Clemson.
Plus the football stadium is off campus and you have to cross a busy multilane commuter road to reach some of the classroom buildings and gym.
