They seem to have a similar vibe student wise. They care more about tailgating than the games. They have no qualms about cheating.
Also, while SMU is technically "in" Dallas it's not actually located in Dallas. University Park is a separate city that is surrounded by Dallas. UP's population is under 25k.

Is this a joke? You can drive in any direction and you wouldn’t leave Dallas within 30 min.
