FSU was still a winning program before Fisher took over.

FSU was 4-29 in the three years preceding Bowden. Fisher didn't have nearly the same hurdle and then ran away after one rough season.

Oh, sure. Bowden built FSU football from nothing. I’m not arguing that point. But he was also sliding at the end.
