The way closed captioning works is when you turn on the feature on the TV it picks up a signal that is the text that has been translated via a stenographer. The TV equipment itself isn’t doing the translating. It’s just picking up the signal.

So if someone isn’t translating it, it’s not going to pick it up.

I was going to ask him next if there was a device. Id glady donate a few bucks if there was something.
