I still see smokers everywhere. Cost doesn't seem to be a deterrent.

Yeah I was at an engagement party a few weeks ago for the son of a close friend, and all the kids were vaping those Juuls. I was a bit drunk and accused them all of smoking weed, but they all assured me they were tobacco implements in them.

The opposite is actually true. Less are smoking these days than they used to, at least from shite I read that I won’t link cause lazy.
I need to quit myself.

how much does a pack go for in SC?
I don't smoke but up here it's like 14-15 bucks.
Especially if you're smoking a pack a day?
Thats over 100 bucks a week

Around 5 bucks. A pack lasts me about 2-3 days. Still too much.

When I quit smoking Marlboros were like $3.50 a pack. bullshite.
I paid around $3 for Basics and could barely afford it.
I have no idea how people afford it today.

8-10 bucks a pack seems like an expensive habit these days. plus you stink and get diseases. No thanks. but you do you.

Holy crap, I remember when Ohioans used to drive across the river to pay that much for a carton in Kentucky. Too bad our tobacco farming has declined. We could be a rich state.

Been a pack a day guy for more than a decade, shite sucks. I haven’t noticed any huge amount of kids smoking, if anything it seems less common which is good.

Smoked 37 years. Two and a half packs a day when I had a heart attack. Quit cold turkey. Salam were $2.20 a pack...
Best thing I ever did.

Make pot half way legal and everyone would grow their own.
Would not be cost effective for the POPO to bust someone with half a dozen pot plants in their garden.

Dude, That's 60 cigarette's a day. That's a little over 3 1/2 cigarettes an hour when you don't count sleeping. I bet you were a badass.

Kentucky Cannabis could be an awesome cash crop for the state. Imagine the quality of Bluegrass-grown marijuana.
We'd have to overcome the rural mindset of most of the Commonwealth for that to happen though.

I was a rural mail carrier. Stressful as working derricks.
