we had some success against the Tide. We have lost 11 straight to the Tide now

Yeah I'm pretty sure the series was like 10-8 or something before Saban got there. It was a pretty good back-and-forth between the teams. Losing the 2014 game still bugs me.

Yes, 10-7. Plus you gave us the worst and most demoralizing loss in the last 60 years - 42-6 in '98. Because of incompetence, corruption and arrogance which resulted in severe sanctions, '97-06 was the worst 10 year run in program history. You were 6-4. Hopefully, that will never happen again. Hopefully, Bama's 17-1 record outside of that period will remain the norm. 5 of those 17 wins were one score or less and a couple of others were closer than the score indicated. I hope y'all recover. Most here don't realize how good your history is. You've actually done a decent job in the SEC until post-Petrino. Even then CBB had a couple of decent seasons, close to being very good. Some of those A&M losses were excruciating and 2014 Bama and who can forget 98 UT. No intent to bring pain, just sympathizing - I felt for you and of course hated UT.
