It's hard to believe UGA has had only one season of note since 1980.

Really? Just as many as Auburn has since 1980, then I guess. Go ahead and list all the wonderful seasons Auburn almost had.

You remind me of the Auburn poster that tried to tell everybody that Auburn was one game away from winning the National Championship last year.

Come on man. I'm not a UGA fan, but that is preposterous. You lose any credibility with statements like that. Mark Richt alone finished in the top 7 6 times, including number 2 twice, number 3 once and number 5. All 4 of those years they were within a hair of either winning or playing for the NC, with a great chance to win. That's not counting last year.

Not trying to downplay the NC, it's a significant hump to get over, but UGA, like AU, has been a very good program the last 37 years. They have actually come close to a NC more often than you. But again you have the NC - I get it.

Since 1980:
NC: AU 1, UGA 0
Top 5: UGA 6, AU 4
Top 10: UGA 15, AU 12
Ranked: AU 24, UGA 23
10+ wins: UGA 16, AU 11
