We're in much better position in terms of arms for obvious reasons. If they throw the molester Monday he'll be on 5 days' rest after throwing on 4 days' rest in his last start so he'll be plenty used up. Probably going to be some high scoring games. Many experts favor us, though. We can hit with anybody so their lineup doesn't scare me much. Our starters just have to show up and limit their damage. Can't give out a lot of walks to this team.

Yeah they have a powerful lineup. We are hot right now. Hope the good guys win

in the last week, highest pitch count for us was Campbell with 86. Oregon St has 5 guys over 100 pitches in that span.
Blaine Knight pitched 81 but will have 7 days rest into Monday vs. Heimlich having pitched 122 this week and coming off 4 days rest Monday.
Kacey Murphy pitched 80 but will have had 5 days rest by Tuesday. Reindl has only thrown 27 pitches total this week and Cronin just 48.
if the bats stay hot, we will be good, especially if this goes all 3 games.

Heimlich has thrown in two games already. Both have been short outings and both times he got touched up for some runs. Overall, Heimlich is 16-2 on the season with 154 Ks in 124.1 innings.
Bryce Fehmel is their #2. He is 10-1 on the season with 63 Ks in 111 innings.
Saturday Heimlich vs. UNC: 2.1 innings, 63 pitches, 4 hits, 6 runs, 6 earned runs, 2 Ks, 1 BB
Monday Fehmel vs. Wash: 4 innings, 57 pitches, 7 hits, 4 runs, 4 earned runs, 2 Ks, 0 BB
Wednesday Heimlich vs. UNC: 2.2 innings, 59 pitches, 6 hits, 3 runs, 2 earned runs, 1 K, 0 BB
Friday Fehmel vs. State: 3.2 innings, 57 pitches, 4 hits, 2 runs, 2 earned runs, 1 K, 0 BB
Mulholland is their top saves guy. 15 saves on the season, 44 innings, 41 Ks, 11 BBs. Teams hit .196 against him.
Mulholland vs. State(last night): 2 ip, 45 pitches, 1 run, 1 earned, 1 K, 1 BB, 1 HBP
Oregon State's staff seems to throw rest days out the window. They started Kevin Abel last night who started only his 6th game of the season. Otherwise, they have thrown the same two guys the entire CWS. We will see either Hemlich or Fehmel tomorrow, no doubt in my mind.

If this is the case. Then I expect us to keep staying super hot at the plate.

The Oregon State program and Pat Casey is know for chicanery when it comes to announcing starting pitchers ahead of games and even pulled the entire teams stats off the website earlier this year during Pac12 ball but I see they have returned postseason.
Heimlich in Game 1, who knows in Game 2.

Their starters have been shelled in the CWS but their relievers have been absolute nails when the starters go out. Their lineup scores a lot like ours, in large chunk innings whenever the other team's pitching staff gets shaky.
Pitching will determine this series. Both teams can swing.

Really wanted MSU since it would be unlikely for them to go 5-0 or 5-1 against us.
This OSU team is fricking good.
