The greatest offensive and defensive players the SEC has ever produced came from the same school.

And they have 1 SEC title between them.

DT still has the NFL single game sack record, and would likely have the all time record had he not passed away
still in his prime. White was good and could impact a game no doubt, but DT's pass rush could take over a game.

He was one of my favorite NFL players when I was younger and just starting to watch football. Was sad to see him go.

You don’t shite about the NFL if you don’t think White couldn’t either. He had 198 sacks in 15 seasons which was 13 sacks per year. And he didn’t even start his career in the NFL. Thomas had a better college career but White was no doubt the better NFL player.
He was no where close to the all time record and he was 32 years old the his last season. He was closer to the end of his prime then the middle.
I don’t know why so many Bama fans have a hard time admitting a player or team from another school is better every now and then.

Peyton wasn't even the best SEC QB during his era.

We will never know how many he would have had. He averaged about 12 per year, and could have realistically played about 6 more years giving him 198. So probably not have the all time record. But he did have a 6 game sack in 98, and only 7 in 99. Maybe he was on the decline, but he did have better one game showings than White, which was my point which you clearly missed.
Oh and I don't know shite about the nfl, it puts me to sleep, you are right bout that.

Because Derrick Thomas is the greatest defensive player that has ever graced a college football field, and that’s not really up for debate.

Lawrence Taylor
Ed Reed
Derrick Brooks
Aug
Were all better in college
I could debate another 50
Marvin Jones and Deion were just as good
Sean Taylor was pretty damn good
Charles Woodson is right there
