such a trendy issue with so much interest

It's trendy because in 2018 it is still illegal to possess a plant. A plant that was made illegal in a large part due to racism. A plant that can save lives and has clear medical benefits.

The concerning thing is that there are still mouth breathing troglodytes that think the plant should be illegal because they believe their pastor more than scientists. What's more concerning is that 40% of Americans don't believe in evolution. Those are the same people out there trying to keep marijuana illegal.

Thanks for highlighting the other reason it's such a super hip trendy cool duder pet-issue...

Which is that it's the perfect way to paint yourself as a Victim. So that you too can participate in the trendy new outrage culture. Where everyone is defensleless vitctim persecuted and bullied by ignorant boogie men.

Ha ha ha. Ha ha. Just look at how you used trendy weed persecution outrage/victim culture to bring up evolution and religion. Ha ha ha ha.

Coca plants and opium poppies are also plants and are also illegal.

Yet the pro-scientist crowd suddenly goes kinda anti-science when the scientific studies about memory loss and increased potential for violence come up. Yes, there are medical uses, but that's the same for almost any drug. They all have downsides, too.

FTR - if people are to be free, that should include the freedom to ingest whatever they wish, so long as they accept the consequences for whatever results.
