Shoot, one of the men in the republican primaries for governor has a commercial with a truck to round up illegals. I can't see Georgia serving alcohol on Sundays before 1230 PM in the next decade, let alone legalizing recreational marijuana/allowing for dispensaries

Thanks DGD! This might be the perfect example of the freakishly common trendy weed virtue-signal. Let's cut it open and see what's in there...

Anatomy of a Trendy Weed Virtue-Signal:

1)Brush over the illegal immigration, globalization, borders issue like it's something only ignorant backwards rednecks are bothered or affected by. (Even though Georgia is the 7th most illegal immigrant infested state in the union. With literally, 1 in 10 of it's people here illegaly). And then....

2) Paint weed as an issue that only the select enlightened, mega-righteous and intelligent, forward thinking people support and understand.

And boom. Abrah ka dabrah, zippity doooo!...…. Instant virtue and cool dudeness and enlightenment, all based on your trendy view of a fricking plant without having to do or think about anything else. You are now in the cool club.

I’m on the side of stopping the mass migration culture war that is being waged against this country but also on the side of legalizing weed.

You know you can acknowledge multiple problems right? And it's only so popular because it has far more relevance to our lives then some proxy war or some illegals crossing the border.
