I don't care to get back into the Tua vs. Hurts last season stuff, but no way do I want Hurts to transfer and people that do are crazy. Tua hurting his thumb should be enough evidence that we need more qb's on the team and not less.

Going into next season with just Tua and Mac would all the sudden make qb a problem area. Tua tweaks something and then instead of being able to take a game off essentially, maybe just play a series, he has to fight through injury all year. Or we let him sit and put in an unknown commodity without a real backup - I guess Tua would have to be thrown back in if Mac got injured?

Really don't get the "hope Hurts transfers" comments, that would be a major blow to this team IMO.

Going into the season wth only Tua, Hurts, and Mac is already a problem. Saban has said multiple times - 4 scholarship QBs are necessary to be able to practice effectively.

Everyone thinks about games. Having 3 QBs inhibits our ability TO PRACTICE. We need to keep Hurts AND add one more QB if possible.

If Hurts transfers before the season AND we fail to bring in another QB, our QB situation wouldn't be "a problem area" - it would be an unmitigated disaster.
