Taxes shouldn’t be used as an incentive or weapon. This is just a softer version of the imminent domain issue.

They aren't.

Millionaires would rather do business in a state with 5% income tax than 12% income tax. We aren't giving them "tax breaks". They just happen to be paying a lower rate than what a more predatory state would charge them.

Agree to disagree.

And without tax incentives, there is literally no incentive available by the government to influence more jobs and work.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for the fair tax. That would eliminate the income tax leverage and loopholes. Other than property tax, it would create the fairest playing ground in a free economy. I would take that in a heartbeat.

But if I have the opportunity for my government to work harder than neighboring state governments to bring in jobs, them I'm going to take it. And guess what state gets the jobs and what state fails to see progreas as the calendar moves along?

This is wrongthink. Politicians know much better than the market which industries need to be penalized or rewarded. Just like they know better how to utilize your property. Its called the common good. Get with the global world now. Atlanta needs delta to be New york, Paris, fair tax eeeert eart eart wuuuurrzzzzz sibbbideeeeee
