If construction of the bill that Hill alludes to is anything like the format of the FairTax National Retail Sales Tax bill, then it requires the abolition of the state income tax in order to be replaced by the state sales tax (which obviously we have, but would by definition, increase). I'd gladly pay 3-4% more at the register in favor of everyone, legal or not, paying into the state coffers.

Or eliminate the income tax and replace it with nothing.

-Gas tax and federal money pays for roads.
-Property taxes and local sales taxes (and more federal money) pays for schools (and some local road improvements)
-Fines pay for state patrol
-Fines and restitution to the state pays for state prisons and state courts

What else we got?
