Then we, too, could have been the lucky recipient of a 2–10 season. What fools we were. Maybe they'll invent time travel one of these days.

We saw what happened when Nutt tried to be a head coach in the modern era of SEC football. It didn't last long.

You might have had an argument if we had tanked under Petrino or if your arguement was that we should have kept Petrino.

Yea we did. Back to back Cotton Bowl National Titles.

I'm going to make shirts for this year that say "I miss Nutt".

Should be a great troll on our ignorant fanbase

Yep, he did well with the talent he inherited. He then quickly learned that he did not have the ability to maintain a program in the post-Saban SEC and went 1-15 his last two years, never to coach again.

I’m guessing you’re not old enough to remember the circus that was Houston Dale? I’ll say a few positive things about Nutt though:

1. He understood the program and the importance of it to the state

2. He could sell ice to an Eskimo whether in recruiting or to our idiotic fan base

3. He had some pretty solid defenses

Despite all that, he squandered every chance we had to take the next step and to say we should have kept him just shows the idiocy of our fans. We are all dumber today for this post. I’m encouraged by Morris and the fact that he has #1 and possibly #2. I’ll wait and see what he can do and ignore the opinions of our retarded media base and fans.

That too. But that's too obvious to even talk about at this point.

Also Nutt > Bert is pretty obvious.

I'm making the claim that the program would be in a better place today if Nutt was our coach for the last 9 years instead of what we actually went through.

And I don't even like Nutt.
