Eating you alive, isn't it? Gus averages 5 losses a year, and in his one breakout, decent year, he got two phenominal plays that saved him from a 4 loss season, and you still think he is "all that". I have to ask. What exactly does Gus have to do to make you turn on him and admit he is a minimum 4 loss a year coach?

No, just amazed at the hype. I always thought Kirby was a by product of Saban's success and rode his curtail to a major job, similar to McElwain. I always thought that Bama's secondary was their weak link over the years even with some of the talent they had there. I saw what Gus and Freeze's HS Offenses did to those Ds and felt that Kirby was very vulnerable to a decent QB. It carried over to last year. I guess they are basing it on last years recruiting class.

It is premature. I think what has us (Georgia fans) sold on him is he has recruited very well, and has recruited to our needs very well. he is building a strong OLine and Dline, which we've not had in awhile.

That and he did go all the way to the National Championship game. I mean, think about how you guys felt after 2013. And Kirby has recruited better than Gus. So, it's only natural to feel like he is the real deal.

I mean, nobody expects him to be Saban 2.0, but we are hoping he does at least what Dabo has done.

Probably the SEC championship and Rose Bowl win over the Heisman winning #1 pick, but you knew that.
