Looks like another Auburn/Tennessee battle for a Georgia prospect.
I heard he visited tCabin over the weekend, any news from the Auburn side?

Kid's legit. Nice grab for where ever he lands.

Would add that it will be a benefit to someone to grab a kid from that's Marietta HS team. They are loaded for the next two cycles.

Split reporting on this one. KN says not a take for AU right now. Wolk says AU would happily take em
Either way, everyone seems to think he's Tennessee bound

Well KN just said things have changed & that Keyton is very much a take now for AU. Plan originally was AU would only take 2 WRs but now sounds like it will be 3. According to KN it's too close to call right now
Maybe he did take a trip to the cabin after all

I don't know what's true and what's not about him being a take but if he's not that's pretty stupid on our part.

Why in the world would he not be a take?

Who knows. Maybe our bagmen have given us secret info that better players are willing to accept less money than originally thought?

Really deep talent in the entire southeast this cycle. Everyone is being really selective.
How many spots does AU have in this class?

We took a big WR class last time. Already have one committed now. Originally the reports were AU would only take 2 WRs in this class & Keyton just wasn't a considered a must take
That's apparently changed based off reporting from KN today. Sounds like AU now wants 3 or at least recognize that Keyton is too good a talent to not make a run at & if we were to somehow pull one of the other big names we wanted u make it work
Just passing along what has been reported. I'm a huge Keyton fan. Dude catches everything thrown his way & is really physical

23 is the number I have seen right now but that obviously could change

Thanks.
Keyton is a smooth dude at his size. Got to assume some of the recent UT chatter is related to the Vols apparently being in good position for their QB, Harrison Bailey (2020). Silly amount of talent on that Marietta team for 2019, but 2020 is even more loaded.

Maybe, but probably only Harrison Bailey. The other two are likely UGA bound.

This is why I want him, not the fastest guy (although I'd like to see his 40 time under normal conditions), but he's a possession catch machine and blocks like a TE.

Not sure if he was hurt or not but he had a pretty bad showing at The Opening. Laser timed 4.82 40 yard dash and only a 32 inch vertical. Obviously that's not in pads though.

When I saw this I had to look into it, he ran his 40 in the rain at the Opening, which can easily add a couple tenths to a 40 time. The vertical is concerning, but he tested well at every other station.
Look at his film, you can tell he's faster than 4.82.

Probably right, but several others at the event ran in the 4.4s, 4.5s, and 4.6s. Possible he just slipped, I have no idea how many attempts you get at these kind of events. A lot of guys who run a 4.5 without pads run a 5.0 with them.
