I think Saban would have been just as successful at LSU, A&M, AU, UGA and UF.

Pretty much this. When it comes to football potential, all of these schools can be lumped together: the potential is huge based on a number of factors. Achieving that potential is so heavily dependent on hiring the right coach at the right time.

I'd love to hear specifically how Saban would be any less able to win championships at AU, UGA, UF, or more at LSU than he is at Bama.

Bama hired two legends in Bryant and Saban...no one argues that. But those legends could have had similar runs at any of the schools listed above. There's nothing in the water in Tuscaloosa that makes it unique from the others.

if Saban had stayed at LSU........we would be talking about on two decades of dominance. Saban GOAT coach.

Would those schools relinquish control of their program to Coach Saban? Would those schools AD's back away and give Coach Saban a blank check? Would those schools Alumni keep their noses out?

Some how I highly doubt it.......
