Specifically? Real truth is Georgia has seriously under achieved for years. But they hired the right guy who has learned from the right mentor and he got everything and more from a desperate Georgia AD/Admin. Richt was supported by the admin, he just wasn't hard core enough to push the envelope. LOL, he hired a DC who was (JP) and couldn't handle him, rumor is he almost got into a physical sit over that.

Hard truths: * Georgia has more big time athletes coming out of H.S. football than any state in the union. * The Georgia alums get involved as they do at all SEC schools. * Georgia has one of the top three or four recruiting staffs in CFB, others being Vols, CU and Bama. *Kirby has tremendous administrative support, as good as it gets. * There is zero serious in state competition for players and there may have been a player leave the state last year that UGA was hot for but I can't name him. For instance the QB who went to CU was passed over to recruit/sign Fields. Oh, Kirby would have liked to have lots of guys and some superior athletes left. But I can't name one that UGA singled out and said Ok, this is the one at that position. Maybe there was maybe one to perhaps two but darn few and that will change only slightly. When Dogs get too stacked @ a particular spot and and a few guys go some place else to play.
