You seem to be a big fan. I was planning to go see this movie, but I haven't seen a superhero movie from the last 15 years or more. Would I need to watch any (or all) of the Marvel movies to know what's going on?

I've seen most of them, but I haven't seen Black Panther, Spiderman, skimmed through Thor: Dark World, only about half of Age of Ultron. You don't need to see The Incredible Hulk. GOTG 2 doesn't really have much to do with Infinity War, but it was a good movie.

We can make a better list of what you need to see, but I'm just saying that you don't need to see them all.

I would catch Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther to set the stage. Also would recommend Dr. Strange because he has a significant role.
Some people like both Guardian of the Galaxy movies and they provide some background about Thanos and events off Earth but they aren't necessary. The movie fills in the casual fan for the most part.
