I'm not sure anymore ... who is more Bamacessed? LSU fans, Auburn fans or Sheephumping Taterheads?

Auburn I get ... instate rivals and all. It's in the blood. Split families, shootings, killings, body burnings, etc. I get it. It's cool.

The Sheephumpers, I get that too. Lately they've started claiming as many national titles at Bama, they claim a blood relationship because of Frank and Danny and now Yabo Dabo Doo ... taterheads seriously consider themselves Bama's equal, in a very little brother sorta way. It's funny ... but it's an obsession. Clemson fans are the epitome of Bama dickriders, there's no denying that. Every other word outta their mouths is Bama this and Bama that. Every time I see this whole DACA mess on TV ... when I see these Central Americans climbing fences trying to get into this country ... I always think of Clemson fans and picture them trying to climb the SEC border fence trying to get-in so they can snuggle with Bama. lol

... and then there's LSU. This one I do not get.

LSU has this incredible history, incredible fan base (No place in the world like Tiger Stadium for a night game when they are good, period), no better traditions ... yet so many of them are Bamacessed. Why? I don't get it? Is it because LSU fans have no true rival? Tulane in baseball of course, but football ... I mean the SEC tried to force the whole Arkansas thing and that didn't take. Or at least it wasn't taken seriously by LSU fans and rightfully so. Now the SEC wants A&M to be LSU's big rival, but A&M already hates Texas and honestly, the A&M vs Arkansas thing probably has more potential just because of the old SWC connection.

Is this LSU Bamacession an envy thing? Because we all envy Bama's titles and recruiting classes and to some extent their HoF and Museum and The Bear and Wade Wallace and all that ... now Saban, The REC, ... but LSU fans, you have so much to be thankful for. And Coveting is one of the really bad deadly sins.

Tbh I think LSU has great fans. Some are a little more demanding than others. Every fan base is like that though.

I will say, as an outsider, that I feel like LSU fans on here get unnecessary shite thrown at them because this is their message board. It is home to a lot of SEC fans though as well. There are times where some of them, and other fan bases, bring it on themselves.

I personally feel like LSU is an awesome program. I wish we could have the success and talent they get. I'm assuming that is the same way with Bama, but increased x1000+. Alabama is primarily their threat to being great. Of course other teams will challenge them every season, but that's how I see it.

Add in their decline over the last few years, Alabama's success over the last decade, Saban as their coach at one time, and expectations falling short is the real reason.

They want to beat Alabama, but don't always see the big picture. It's hard enough to win the west (or east) and even more difficult to have an amazing season.

Hope I'm not too far off, again, just my observation. I've said many times that LSU is a sleeping giant. If they fix their issues, they will be a force. This season will probably be hard for them. Very very difficult schedule.

Imagine it this way... You are in an amazing relationship, with a gorgeous woman and things have never been better. You guys even win the lottery once together.

Then one day she decides to dump you and move on. Then a little after that she decides to marry that total a-hole down the street that you can hardly stand. You get to watch them have a long extended version of the relationship that you had, except it's even better than you could have imagined when you were together. And then, you get to watch them win the lottery five times over. One of those times they cut in front of you in line at the store, took a dollar from you and won on the ticket that you would have bought.

Think there might be any resentment if you had to live through that?
