do you think it will be before the season or after the season?

My guess is before the season......to motivate the team..
but then I do not think he is even close to retiring
(He might go another 10 years)

No, not this coming season. I meant was when he decides to retire, will he do it before or after the season?

Well any given point in an off-season is both before and after a season. You mean would he retire in January vs. August? Only mad men retire in August, he strikes me more as a March-April guy.

Why do grown up Bama fans call Nick Saban "Coach Saban"...?

Saban isn't as stupid as you to think that's a good idea.

We should call him CNS and acronymize fricking everything because that's what adults do

I think he would really put the team first, so he would consider:

1) Who would be the new coach
2) How would it effect recrutiing

He could say he is retiring in August, because if he said it in January it would not give Alabama time to find a quality hire, and hurt recruiting.... I highly doubt that he would say he is retiring after NSD......

I think he would wait until after March Madness to give Paul more to talk about.

All our players should sound like early 80s home computers. I really hope Saban starts Commodore TT3 and not Amstrad JH2. Yes I responded to myself. I had a follow up

It is a measure of respect for his achievements, along with Alabama fans being raised to do the right thing.

Do you call your father by his first name? Do you call another man "Sir"? How do you address a woman?

People have stopped showing respect to their elders, and stop having manners way too much.

I call him father, dad, or daddy...... all terms of endearment for a man I respect and love....

Any of my father's friends, I call Mr. or Dr. (surname)

I could not even think of calling them by their first name. Only people I call by their first name are people my age, and who grew up with me.
