They'll love him in no time. The kid will endear himself to them in short order through hard word and production.

But frick Baltimore anyways ... place is a shithole.

As a ravens fam who keeps up with that team as much as I do this one, I not only loved the pick but called it once mike McGlinchey got picked top 10.a lot of us don't care for Joe flacco, but I'm smart enough to know

1 Lamar Jackson isn't the answer

2 he'll likely never even play at Baltimore like tyrod Taylor before him.

The key talking points are

1. “He’s gonna be 30 by the time he contributes anything”

2. “He’s not a WR REEEEE not Ridley!”

3. “Another fricking TE”

ETA: forgot 4: “he had 3 touchdowns in college”

They are dumb as frick. Been going at them all night. Hayden Hurst will be the most athletic player on our offense next year unless Lamar Jackson somehow plays. our other two TEs are complete garbage .

also as a Raven who called Hayden Hurst going to them in Round 1, I am calling Skai moore to go to them with their 2nd pick of round three.

Shooters Shoot.

the irony here is now Cowboys fans are on Twitter crying because they didn't get Hayden at 19 now that Jason Witten's retiring.

Would have been good having another SC TE in Dallas. Last one was Jay Saldi and Dallas fans still love him. I've got family in Dallas and he is an icon there.

I'm a Skins fan but I wouldn't wish that on any Gamecock right now. Even DJ is frustrated up there. I mean how can a team not love what DJ brings to the table? Ownership is so fricked up there.

Hurst would would become an icon in Dallas. He would be a star up there.

That’s exactly what it is. DJ at his core is a fierce competitor and doesn’t play football just the fun of it. The man wants to win, but Skins ownership gets blasted routinely in the media here for having a losing/who cares if the Skins actually win mentality.

I spent a glorious year in DC (the Pentagon told my dad not to worry, he was on six month tours but they'd just keep reupping him until he retired) and I used to love to pull for the 'Skins.

Then they moved the whole command to Great Lakes Navy Base. I hate to say this.. but Chicago doesn't really match up that well with DC.

One thing I will say though... we went up to Baltimore once and once was enough. It was like Boston but with more humidity and crime.

Pro football focus already has Hayden listed as the ravens #1 TE lol. To be fair, he is head and shoulders above the clowns they have returning.

ETA: never mind that isn't up to date.

Yeah watson was our TE1 last year. #1 in Receptions #2 in receiving yards. I believe he's back with the Saint's now.
