I'm sorry the stats mess up your fanbase's fantasy of Tua being the GOAT while claiming Hurts is bad

You like the stats eh?

Well the stats show that Tagovailoa throws a td every 7 pass attempts and had a 175 qb rating last year to 151 for Jarrett Stidham. Course he also has a national title and Stidham does not.

The barner has a slight point...We wouldn't have won it all with just one of them. Both of them are valuable from a tactical standpoint. Tua played great but he's got to do it every week and sec d coordinators get paid good money to scheme and study. Ignoring this would be incredibly arrogant on our fanbase's part. God help Tua when he makes a mistake because Jalen wasn't so much allowed to sneeze without someone bitching.

Well that just tells you he played a short field on teams that quit (not many more yard per attempt compared to Hurts) and the RBs were doing all the work. Which is also why he had a higher QBR.

Also if you want to compare him to Auburn QBs compare him to JJ. He had a 201 QBR, completed 76% of his passes and didn't throw any interceptions as a backup and in garbage time and we seen how that changed having to start.

Yall can keep trying to spin up to him winning a NC when he barely played but it doesn't change his numbers compared to Hurts.
