Since several inches of snow tubed opening weekend of turkey season, watched the replay on SEC+.

Brown's technique is night and day better. He may not be an All SEC WR this year but I won't be shocked if he has a comparable season to Sasser's final year if given the targets.

Ballard is going to be handful if they can get him blocking his position consistently.

The interior oline and dline are evenly matched. Teams are going to have to blitz the A gaps if they want to move Lock off his spot. On the other side, Beckner and Palmore plugged their gaps vs the run.

Durant and Adams clearly outclassed the available edge pass rushers.

Miller is going to be a great LB. It's too bad Brooks missed the spring recovering. Garrett has no one behind him currently.

Hilton is a turd. The transfer from Oregon has a lot riding on him and doesn't get to campus for two months.

I did like how Gillespie, Sparks, and Acy handled their assignments. Acy is going to get some PI calls but he is making much better reads on the ball.

Edge pressure and FS are the questions to be answered in August.

Miller looked really good, but with him backing up Hall he may not play much until his junior season.

Powell looked the best of the backup QB’s.

The new receivers have a chance to get playing time.

Perkins has moved to the OLB/Nickel position.

I'd agree. Those are my biggest concerns as well. We may have to get creative to get some pressure, but it's worth noting that Williams (clearly our best DE) and none of the incoming freshmen played in this game.
