Pretty obvious and painful regression there. I don't really blame 100% on Matheny, but the front office has sat on their hands or "whiffed" more in the last 3 years than I can ever remember. Ozuna was a good pickup, but they need to make a decision on Carpenter/Fowler/Gyrko.

They finished a game out of the WC in 2016 and 4 games out in 2017.
They won 8 games in interleague play both of those seasons. Finish .500 vs the AL in both seasons and they are in the postseason. They got hammered last night vs a shite Minnesota team. Gant is turd so I wasn't shocked.
They should have made Carpenter get his shoulder repaired. That $13.5 mill is tough to swallow but he has 3 holes in his swing right now instead of the normal one.
Fowler and Gyrko were awful signings.
