I found another article from last summer speculating that we may be looking into other cities' kickoff games.

What other cities are hosting these now? I know we are doing Orlando but who else is out there? I wonder if we would ever consider doing something like LSU did when they went to Lambeau. The money would be good but I know Saban likes to showcase the team in recruiting hot beds. We could do an NFL stadium in a cold weather city since its Labor Day but wonder if they would pay the big money like ATL and Dallas.

Seems like Miami, Tampa, NOLA and Nashville would be good places to host them. They have NFL stadiums and are pretty good labor day weekend travel destinations for attracting fans. They already host bowl games, so it seems like the bowl organizations should be able to do it.

Houston, Orlando, and Charlotte have them now. Chicago has one this year at Soldier field, but it's not a season opener. They went local and invited Illinois, but could expand if it's successful. Landover, MD, hosted a mid-season game last year, and has a season opener this year.

The Cowboys are hosting four games this year. To season openers, and one SEC, and one Big 12 conference game.
