Has something like this ever happened in the same year for Auburn? I'm guessing not
SEC West/or regular season Champions in football

There’s no way... AU won the SECW in 1997... then won the SEC basketball regular season the following year in 1998/99... we also won the SEC baseball tournament title in like 1998 (sometime in the late 90s... not sure the yr).

maybe this is a better question reserved for mid april/may when baseball season is halfway wrapped up we just started sec play we have road trips to Lexington. fayetville. Tuscaloosa. gainsville. and oxford still to come

I don't see anything wrong with being proud of it...you can be disappointed we didn't win the SEC and proud of winning the West in the same breath. Winning the West today is much different than the days when Ole Miss claimed their banner.

We are more than proud. We have Coach CoxCat $49 million dollars for embarrassing us in the SECCG and the Peach Bowl.
Meanwhile we handcuffed our new AD with the decision of the previous moron.
