Our top 15 talent team ranked 1 time inside the top 25 and is a 6 seed (likely) hahaha. That was about the very bottom of expectation to start the year.
On the other hand, Pearl took a team of scrubs that will never amount to anything and won the SEC.

Beard, Jones, Cook, Bailey, Thompson, and Hall would not log many minutes in most of the other SEC teams.

To go along with our 4 and 5 star recruits? Again, we are watching a top 15 talent team possibly getting a 6 seed. That is your expectations for Arkansas and that's what you're happy with. You don't mind us never in contention for an SEC title or a deep run in the tournament.

After year one there's not a scout on the face of this earth that wouldn't give Gafford a 5 star grade. He might end this season as a top 10 pick as a freshman from El Dorado. So yeah split hairs but know that you're a dumbass with low expectations. We have once again not contended for an SEC reg season title and behind the 8 ball to advance past the 2nd round. You know how you get into position to make deep runs in the tournament? Do I need to explain it to you?

Obviously they aren't since they won the SEC. Scrubs was a bad way to describe them. I should have said Pearl didn't squander talent like Anderson. Switch coaches and we are SEC champions and Auburn is a 6 seed.

I believe we were and most of us knew that we were madly underrated based on who we had returning and how good we already knew Gafford was. I'm not saying this was a disaster season however. I'm saying this is about a good as it ever gets with CMA. And most of you are excited about that.
