Question on Barnett and the NBA

He has turned into one of the better perimeter defenders in the conference. It might be enough for him to become a 3 and D player on an NBA roster.

He would be a good guy for1 a 2-way contract.

His inability to put it on the floor will be his downfall.

He isn't as elite as Andre Roberson on the defensive end.

Barnett isn’t quite a big, but he could be a Robert Covington type. Roberson was purely a defensive player, Barnett has the athleticism to defend and the shooting to be a spotup shooter.

His offensive game is just too one dimensional IMO. He might get a sniff but will ultimately make his money overseas and enjoy a very good living doing so.

It’s different in different leagues. The top players in Europe make 7 figures. Denmon has a 6 figure salary.

With our lack of guard depth, he’s been exposed a bit this year in his ball handling. His shooting is light years better.

I don’t see him playing in the NBA.

Offense isn’t what could get Barnett to the NBA. There’s a number of 3 and D wings in the NBA that are limited offensively.
