Yea? I thought we were discussing non-revenue sports, and to answer your questions. The University of Missouri joined the SEC 6 years ago -- so that's why it's on an SEC message board.

Also. Why do you guys not wrestle? Too worried about messing up those floppy haircuts?

Muscular college men in tight spandex grappling with each other and pinning each other to the floor... Definitely in Missouri's wheelhouse

College wrestling is an elite sport and it’s a shame the SEC would never embrace it. Big 10 tourney and March Matness are two of the best sporting events in collegiate athletics

More so in the other new entrant's wheel house.

I agree. Anyone who falls back on the "men wrestling in tights" probably has no clue in regards to the history of the sport.

Almost the entire conference used to. Then Title IX happened we were forced to pick and chose.

The finals of the NCAA tournament is as exciting as anything in the men’s basketball tournament imo

That's a shame. I've only been to one March Matness and it was insane. Would love to see some SEC schools start up programs again.

Almost certainly not going to happen as long as the conference is part of the NCAA. If, and that is a huge if, SEC schools added a new men's program anytime soon it would be men's soccer, and even that is a longshot.

Wait. What? I swore I saw Mizzou playing other SEC teams in soccer. Do some schools have soccer programs and others do not?

We all play women's soccer. The only 2 schools that have men's soccer teams are Kentucky and South Carolina.

Nope. Men’s Kentucky is in the Conference USA.

SEC has women’s soccer.

Oh. Okay, that makes sense. I was starting to question my sanity, as I was pretty certain that I watched the SEC Women's Soccer tournament on the SEC Network last year.
