This isn't about the schools being in the league.

If the tournament was in Louisville, Miami or El Paso we'd be having the same discussion.

One day yins are going to have to get over this. Missouri is not the South. It's the Midwest. The days of conference affiliation being about anything other than making the most money possible are over.

If tradition, geography, rivalries drive these things (and I wish they did) we'd still be in the Big 8.

the point being, 6 of 11 SEC states border non-league states. If the plan is to have some slight rotation for venues, very high % its going to be in a location close to non-SEC areas. this isnt shocking news.

Again, its easier if people just realize this isnt the 1960's anymore

Nothing wrong with it being in louisville, too.

I get your sarcasm with Miami or el paso. But St Louis is known as a host city for college basketball. Thats why STL was strongly considered. Its one freaking year. Get over it?
