Shortly after making it to Alabama for the first time a few months ago, Siaki Ika backed off a year-long commitment to Brigham Young and, being back on the board and weighing his options, the massive lineman was back in Tuscaloosa this weekend for the Crimson Tide's spring game.

The four-star defensive tackle from Salt Lake City (Utah) East told 247Sports that Alabama occupies the No. 1 spot in his recruitment.

"They're definitely at the top," Ika said. "I haven't thought about recruiting or cutting my list too much since I'm focusing on my last year coming up and winning a state title, but they're definitely at the top.

"The biggest thing is that I was able to bring my parents along and get them to see everything this weekend. I was able to experience everything with them, so it was kind of a dream come true for me. They loved it -- I think my dad had more fun than I did. We met with coach Nick Saban and talked about everything. My dad loved it, but it's the first visit he's been on so it's hard to say where it stacks up for them. For me, it was like the first time I went out there. I really like how much time the coaches put into the players as far as developing them, not only in football but in life after football."
