I can’t really emphasize enough how weak you become after breaking a leg. There’s a period of time where you can’t even do PT. You’re just sitting and seeing the surgeon every week to check in on how the leg is healing.

Brahms was scooting around campus last summer and was cleared to put full weight down just weeks before fall camp. And despite that he beat out Kim

Anyhow, I’m really looking forward to seeing him play after a full off-season of S&C. We do have the same issue should he get injured again

I think your comments point again to a problem w/ running between the guards.

We lack quality depth at C, because we had to play Brahms, who was still probably not at his peak, even though he was cleared to practice/play. Kim is adequate at best.

Our guards were not as strong as last few years. They simply could not road grade and give our backs much room to run through.

Why did he lose the job the last half of the season? Just wasn't ready for the reasons you stated above?

Thanks Jones, Ive been saying the same thing. And its not just one leg, its both given that he was scooting around. And takes quite a while to push up against 300lb linemen.
